I'm sitting here looking at a poster for a college that says, "Education for the real world" and I thought "hmm, that's not exactly what I got." But then, my education was in the arts which is not necessarily the "real world" but does help us to interpret, understand, escape, celebrate & cope with the real world. Which in at least my opinion is equally important. :)

I am happy to see you back on-line. Who says that the arts are not real life? There has always been a debate about whether art imitates life or life imitates art. Without art, the "real world" would be at the least, boring and at worst unbearable. Keep using your arts education to make the real world a better place!
